Let’s make some vegan philly cheese steaks two different ways!

Ingredients:
1 yellow onion
1 red bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
Vegan Hoagie roll or French Bread

Seitan:
1 cup vital wheat gluten
2-3 tbs nutritional yeast
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tap onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp fennel seeds
1/2 tsp Rosemary
1/2 tsp mustard powder
1/2 cup vegan beef broth or vegetable broth
2 tbs soy sauce
1 tbs avocado oil
1 tbs tomato paste
1 tsp liquid smoke
1/4 cup mashed chickpeas

Marinade:
2-3 tbs soy sauce
2 tbs vegan Worcestershire
1 tbs avocado oil
1 tbs apple cider vinegar
2 tap liquid smoke
1 tbs maple
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Smoked paprika

Mushroom Philly Cheese Steak:
16 oz oyster mushrooms

Marinade:
2-3 tbs soy sauce
2 tbs vegan Worcestershire
1 tbs avocado oil
1 tbs apple cider vinegar
2 tap liquid smoke
1 tbs maple
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Smoked paprika

Steak sauce:
3 tbs ketchup
1 tbs mustard
1-2 tbs vegan Worcestershir
1 tsp appl cider vinegar
bBlack pepper to taste

  2. What can be used instead of seitan? Honestly, just the name itself has some weird vibrations…seitan, satan. Anyways, the sandwich looks amazingly delicious!
