Welcome to Apéro Hour 🍷 In this series we’re featuring recipes that can be made for apéro (short for aperitif) which a very coveted time of day for the French.
Apéro is held in that sweet spot between after work and before dinner— a perfect time to wine down and enjoy simple ingredients with good company.
Today we’re making Chèvre Rôti, one of my most favorite easy dishes! Place pieces of sliced chèvre on a fresh baguette, pop in the oven for 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees, then top with honey. Best served with a glass of sancerre, a great option for those who like sauvignon blanc!

Slight variation I would suggest: swap the olive oil for a bit of honey and your cheese will come out golden and slightly sweet. Oil will only bring fat to an already fatty cheese. Thyme at the end though yes !
