I opened this Japanese Niagara white wine my friend got from Japan. It’s from Hokkaido, which is a cooler climate, slows the grape ripening, and gives it a more floral, honey, citrusy, and “grapey” flavor. It’s a little sweet for me, but it’s a great dessert wine. I primarily taste the grape, but I learned the wine is infused with muscat grapes, which gives it that sweeter taste. Apparently you can’t get this in the States so I’m definitely going to enjoy it.

A unique wine to try for the night!
