Tanzanian geshas have been very hot or miss for me. Leaves and Manhattan acacia hills releases were great a few years back, but everything else I've had has fallen in this intensely herbal camp… Not sure why
IME with PP in general they’re an interesting roaster cuz sometimes they meet the same intersection of sourcing and pricing as something like DAK but I had an Omni Washed Ethiopian that was very very pleasant so they’re a roaster I’ll definitely go back to on occasion.
Seems a bit disappointing for my preferences, based on your review.
Tanat Acacia Hills Geisha has been very nice for me and in 2025 I had a washed Pacamara that was one of my year favourites.
Based on my experience in past years I think they are coffees that require some right roast approach to tame them and enhance their solubility but just my opinion.
Thanks as usual for sharing such a detailed review!
Thanks for your review. I brewed the coffee 2-3 months ago and had the same impression like you describing in the review. Agree that the packaging is HOT❤. Reason enough to order from them
Really enjoyed brewing this coffee myself, super interesting how many different ways it presents based on how its brewed. Are you sticking with the 12g dose that TANAT recommend when you brew, if so are you using a v60 01?
