We went to Europe in late April and traveled to several places, including London, Paris, and the French Cote d’Azur.
After four nights in London, we took the Eurostar to Paris. The high-speed train runs through an underground tunnel under the Straits of Dover, and it takes just 2 hours and 20 minutes to get from London to the center of Paris. We had a comfortable trip in a premium class seat, enjoying the beautiful rural landscape from the window.
In Paris, we stayed at the Ritz Paris, a five-star hotel located on a corner of Place Vendôme.
Founded in 1898, the Ritz Paris is a luxury hotel with a rich history and tradition, and is considered one of the most luxurious and highly acclaimed hotels in the world.
Reopened in 2016 after a four-year renovation, the new Ritz Paris maintains its historic beauty while offering more refined elegance and modern comfort.
For dinner at restaurant ESPADON, we enjoyed a unique and wonderful French cuisine prepared by a young, talented chef, paired with vintage wines, and had a wonderful time that is rarely experienced.
The excellent hospitality, luxurious interior and atmosphere, and restaurant experience made for a truly dreamlike stay.
