I change up my brew method every year or two. I did Aeropress last year but shifted to espresso over the holidays. Life is about fun variety. Cheers
I love videos like these, it's always so easy to assume "coffee is coffee". This definitely tracks with how I feel after drinking (and why I avoid) cold brew…
It would interesting to see how much does Turkish coffee have. I feel it's definitely the strongest.
What about caffeine per coffee bean weight?
Appreciate the crisp format this was presented in. Clear and to the point, great job!
100mg per 8oz? I got lost with ounces. Can't we keep it totally metric?
What you say and the numbers you present does not line up. For instance you say french press extraction tends to be higher but then say it's 90/8 compared to drip 100/8?
Great job & quality on this video; this is the most information in the shortest amount of time I've seen on caffeine content based on brew methods.
I think a follow up video w/ a chart might help including arabica vs robusta, however the robusta options are generally blends so then you gotta get into brands & the proportions of arabica to robusta which is probably a 3rd video right there.
Prefer espresso simply because of the taste. That would be both standard and decaffeinated beans.
I usually do a pour over long black but with a 2 mins steep in the filter. This means the amount of caffeine is higher based on what you say.
