I painted my door a year ago and love it! My neighborhood isn't exactly colorful but I love colors. I even have my mailbox painted with sunflowers.
Since last year I've been going back and forth on the idea if I should paint my black window boards the same color as my door? Would it be too much? Look tacky? My neighbor made a comment last year asking why I painted my door, which really confused me. I don't know if she meant the color or if I was just drawing attention to my place.
I kind of dislike that the house is green, would it go well? There are two windows on each side so it's eight boards in total. I want to eventually paint the rocking chairs colorful when I figure out a good color

I would not. It’s fine on the door, but the teal isn’t very cohesive with your siding color. I also like the rocking chairs as is!
