In this episode of our New Orleans travel vlog we are at Martin’s Wine Cellar on a travel search for gourmet deli options in the New Orleans area. We are in the New Orleans suburb of Metairie visiting the second location of Martin’s Wine Cellar which is located at 714 Elmeer Ave. which is about 14 minutes and 7.5 miles away from the French Quarter. Martin’s Wine Cellar has been family-owned and operated since 1946 featuring a New York style deli, gourmet food, wine, spirits, imported beer and gift baskets. The uptown New Orleans location is the original location of Martin’s Wine Cellar and they also have three other Louisiana locations with the second in Metairie we are visiting in this video along with locations in Mandeville and Baton Rouge. New Orleans has a lot of great food and that also includes some of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten anywhere so I don’t usually have to travel for best sandwiches options that I already know about that are some of my favorite which Martin’s has definitely been one of my favorites that we will show you in this visit with our restaurant review video. I might go so far as to say that New Orleans might have the best sandwich in the USA to my taste and offers many great sandwiches but first we feast on the Deli Deluxe sandwich here at Martin’s Wine Cellar to experience what could be one of the USA’s best sandwich candidates but we will let you judge that for yourself. I am constantly asking where is the best sandwich and who has the best sandwich and often I find the best sandwiches are still found in New Orleans so we will eat with me sandwich perfection so let’s get started with a sandwich eat with me on our travel vlog.
