Grand Hyatt Tokyo Review
In this video, we review the Grand Hyatt Tokyo and break down whether it makes sense for points travelers and luxury travelers who want to stay in Roppongi Hills. We cover the standard room and upgraded deluxe room, Grand Club lounge access, breakfast at The French Kitchen, the gym, on-property dining, and what the overall experience feels like for both tourists and business travelers. We also talk through the location advantages, booking perks, Hyatt Globalist benefits, and one important catch to watch for: seasonal pool maintenance that can affect the stay. Overall, this is a polished, well-located Tokyo hotel, but whether it is the right fit depends on how much you value convenience, lounge access, and being in the heart of Roppongi.

  1. Great, thanks for sharing🙂. Perhaps not as good as Park Hyatt Tokyo, but it looks like a solid option. So they charge you for the small schampo, and the ball point pen🙈? Is that a new trend? I understand the concept of "Green Luxury" but it feels a bit sneaky. Very useful video as always👍.

  2. Thanks for all your Hyatt Tokyo videos. They've really helped me decide which properties I'll stay. 8:12 I had to smile at the in-room price list. Literally everything in the room is for sale.

  3. I never really thought about it, but isn’t it a little surprising that booking through Amex FH&R doesn’t give you lounge access?

  4. I stayed there a looong time ago in a standard room and it's still the same great room. Japan uses those swinging pocket doors to save space, but the water closet is tiny. Solid location with the hotel and subway station connected to the Roppongi Hills Mori Building. Lots of great food to find around that area. The staff is excellent and I would easily stay there again.👍

  5. I'd like to stay here, but the Hi-Hat in Tokyo is expensive😌The price is too different from the Hi-Hat in Yokohama. Tokyo has a high demand from inbound tourists, so from a Japanese perspective, accommodation prices at all hotels have become too expensive. . It's unfortunate that it's becoming difficult to stay at the hotel you want to stay at, but the current situation is such that it's becoming difficult to stay at the hotel you want to stay at. .

  6. Just stayed there in a suite for spring break. One of the few places that can house a family of 4. Booked with 160k and a SUA. Looking to go back. Only downside was 30 minute subway ride to everywhere. We found some good BBQ spots nearby.
