For Episode 34 of Living Noire, we revisited Le Bilboquet for their Easter prix fixe menu — a curated three-course dining experience featuring an appetizer, entrée, and dessert for $105 per person.
We’ve been here several times before, and this visit brought the restaurant back onto our radar in the best way. It felt like a return to a place we already loved, with a menu that reminded us why.
Here’s what we tried during this visit:
• Buzz Sans Alcool mocktails (peach + blueberry)
• Bread service
• Saumon Fumé Maison (house cured salmon)
• Œufs Mimosa à la Truffe (deviled eggs with truffle)
• Le Poulet Cajun
• Navarin d’Agneau Printanier (braised lamb stew)
• Baba au Rhum
The saumon fumé maison was a standout — smoky, layered, and beautifully balanced with crème fraîche, caviar, and pickled onions. Every element worked together, making it a must-have if it’s on the menu.
For entrées, both dishes delivered. The Le Poulet Cajun was tender, flavorful, and just as consistent as we remember, while the braised lamb stew was rich, deeply seasoned, and incredibly tender — easily one of the highlights of the night.
For dessert, we both tried the baba au rhum. It was bold and spirit-forward at first bite, but once paired with the cream and raspberry, it became much more enjoyable.
This visit reminded us that Le Bilboquet continues to deliver a refined dining experience with strong, well-executed dishes and an atmosphere that keeps us coming back.
