What a vintage. Plump (for a riesling) the sugar is more prevalent from the ripeness of the vintage acidity has fallen to a m+, wine feels heavier than expected in a good way. Alsace always smells like sunshine small hint of petrol. White peach, apricots come at first then comes the Alsace floral and mineral components. What a wine, drank better on the second day at a warmer temperature. Pax Vobis.

that petrol note in aged riesling always gets me – your description makes me want to hunt down a bottle from this producer.
I love Trimbach. Great note
