Bold or Muted Rug?

Hello! I am doing some redecorating to my very millennial grey house to make it feel warmer. The folllw 2 images are AI sketches of a wood table with a blue sideboard and new chairs.

I cannot decide on a bold colored or softer colored rug. I worry the bold one may be TOO much navy which carries across the kitchen and living room too.

Ignoring the rug size in the photo (AI) – should I go with the bolder color or the more subdued one?
