“Vintage!” Isn’t it funny? A car can be vintage; that cool jacket is vintage; guitars, cameras, cast-iron pans and even sardines can become VINTAGE and reclaim some measure of the intrigue that they once held as new things. Not you, though. Human beings do not become vintage. They become old. Just kidding! You’re great! Don’t worry about it!
Anyway, if you look at enough sardine stuff, you start to hear about vintage sardines. And you wonder, what’s the point? Is it safe? Do I want to do this? Is this a joke? Are people just pretending that storing your sardines and eating them five years past their expiration date is a great idea?? I wondered all the same things! And according to the runtime of this video, I answered all those questions in less than 15 minutes! Is there anything I can’t do? Yes. I can’t comfortably eat three cans of sardines in 15 minutes, for starters. But watch me try, and watch me solve this thing. I’m gonna eat newish, older, and oldest cans of sardines and I’m gonna yap yap yap about their TASTE and TEXTURE. And I’m gonna love it!

Across many tins from these producers, with ages going back as much as 16 years (so far), I’d say the results are real and consistent. I’m convinced that turning the stock is worth the trouble, and to make that easier I store the destined-for-vintage cans in a large plastic tub, so that I tip it over every few months.
I think the old cans are like fish sauces. 3 cans? I am impressed 😊
Hi pork chop! 😅
I love you 😐
Matty C — we changed our show’s name!!! We rebranded and cleaned it up, so now it’s all fish!!!
We moved all the snack content to a new channel, each is: “Canned Seafood Reviews” and “Snack Reviews HQ.”
Brah… 2026!!! Hope you’re well, man.
My family has laid down rules about my tinned seafood habits . Apparently they don’t like the smell ! 😂 I have to either wash the tins out or take them outside immediately. I’ve bought like 50 tins since I started watching this stuff
Lowkey keeping it at like 50°c-70°c for like a day and then letting it cool for a day prolly does the same thing
4:47 canned fish asmr
Wish someone had to hold me back from a can of deens.
I finally tried sardines for the first time after watching your content for like 6 months. Couldn't do the spine and tore the fillets apart.. but it really wasnt so bad. A little fishy bite to it but not terrible… wouldnt buy it or eat it again but im picky. Had to try it tho. Cheers.
That's not vintage
Neumann speakers. Good choice
My buddy Justin…. ..HI
I think it’s time for me to go to sleep… (no disrespect, cool video. There’s truly a YouTube channel for everything lol)
Vintage = 20 yrs
I find your passion intriguing. Beyond being passionate, an ability to share with others that passion. Blessed with exquisite tastebuds and the talent to share! Yum 🤤
My curiosity is satisfied here. I only buy king oscar cause that is what I like of what is readily available around me. I may try buying from the interwebs, but King oscar is fine. Great channel; mucho grassyass
Somewhere in Crappie Valley there are cellars stocked to the brim with well-tended and turned cans of goodness.
Sardine guy?
Whiskey enthusiast, refer to vintage bottles as "dusty". Never heard of dusty dines…
Do you think there's an increased chance of contaminants getting into the fish, the longer they are in there?

I can't stop watching your videos! You deserve so many more subscribers, dude. I myself love fish, but so many of my friends don't! You make the experience of opening, eating, and describing the fish much more enticing for the viewer, than the average person can do. I think this could cure my friends' fishophobia..
