  1. I've given up meat and dairy for Lent. I don't really have a taste for it anyway, and it's super expensive. I feel better and I'm saving money, so that's good! I love lentils. So healthy and versatile ❤❤

  2. The chips would do me. Hard to get a well cooked chip these days. I do mine in the air fryer but they don’t taste as good as the old days when we deep fried them in dripping.

  3. Everything looks delicious. As a potato lover I always think that your potatoes look wonderful. Like you I believe that gravy makes everything better. Excellent meals.

  4. Yum, all the meals look delicious. I'd love to make Coq au Vin but sadly there's no such thing as cheap wine here. If I buy wine that would really push up the cost of the dish so it will have to wait for a special occasion. If you were to invite me around to dinner I'd like some of your home made chips and maybe the cheese burger you showed at the end. I love a good burger but these days they seem hard to get. Yours looks very delicious.

  5. That's funny, I made lasagne for my other half the day after valentine's day as he loves homemade lasagne too.

  6. The soup looked delicious, a real meal in a bowl 🥣, so that would be a great treat for me.👍
    Lovely meals and beautifully presented.
Thank you Jane and Mike for sharing the video and pats to the doggies 🐾 ☕️🇦🇺

  7. Ooh, thank you for the dinner invite. I would eat any of rhe food you cooked over the week and thoroughly enjoy it. As you're asking specifically, I would have to choose Cornish pasties or homity pie x

  8. i also made love lasagna for my SO for his birthday – a couple of days before valentine's day

  9. This is the first of your food videos I've seen and I really enjoyed it! Your meals look so delicious! Do you share your recipes somewhere? Sorry to make you repeat if you've already said.

  10. Love the lentil soup and cow au vin as well as the sausages and lentils! I do the same as you with the last bits of mustard or jam in my glass jars I make a salad dressing. With the last of the peanut butter I make a peanut sauce I use on chicken or with soba or udon noodles. Good to the last drop! Enjoy your weekend!

  11. Stanley Tucci watch out! Mike is making your beautiful food look scrumptious. Jane, your Sunday Roast/ Monday second plate Plan has inspired me. Thank you for all the hard work and constant inspiration.

  12. Lasagna please xxx
Watching from S W France where we’re staying for the weekend.
We’ve just taken our boys to see the new house. Thinking of all the villages and towns we’ve passed affected by the flooding xxx
