I guess I wasn't rich then but I still ate really good.🥛🍗🌭🥪🍩🍪☕
My mom said she made the steak with peppercorn sauce herself. Money saved. Lol. I see langostine at Trader Joes! You can also find pate en croite at Trader Joe s. Ditto mushroom risotto. Being a pescatarian/vegetarian, I can tell you that the risotto currently runs for $3.50 a package. Hardly a rich person's food..would have been way less in the 70s I imagine.
With today's economy, YOU'RE RICH IF YOU CAN BUY A TV DINNER @$5.99 WHICH 4 YEARS AGO WAS $2.49 !😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
These dishes were NOT that expensive ..not THOUSANDS of dollars, come on!
I had escargot once. Was really good regardless of who I was eating with. I had caviar once and once was enough. But most of the time, I'm a cheeseburger and pizza sort of guy. Those high falutin restaurants are wasted on me.
Hoppin JOHN >? that is when I stopped wathing
I love Eggs Benedict. I haven’t made it in a while, but seeing this, I think I’ll make it again soon. 😊😊😊
We also love quiche , and tomato tart, at our house.
Fried bologna sandwiches with French’s mustard, never mayo.
