Here it comes, television’s most exciting hour of fantastic prizes the fabulous sixty-minute Price is Right!

We are showcasing episodes not viewed in decades. Starting from Season 11 (1982), this is the first season when animal furs were no longer offered as prizes, supporting Bob’s advocacy of animal rights in memory of his wife Dorothy Jo.

To celebrate what would have been Bob Barker’s 100th birthday, the channel is also featuring episodes from the debut season of The “New” Price Is Right in 1972.

Was the audience, right? You bid $16,000. Actual retail prize of your showcase. $19,809. (audience gasping) A difference of $3,809. (bell dings) Well, that much money involved, that’s not a bad bid. You have to be closer than $3,809 without going over, to win your showcase, Patti. Now what did you bid? – $10,000. $10,000. Actual retail price, $12,192. (audience cheering) You win with a difference of $2,192. Congratulations. Yes. – They’re going to love it. – I’m sure they will. And who’s this headed our way? – My mom. – Is this your mom? I bet she’s kinda happy about it too. Hi Dorothy. There’s the champ. Yes, she’s won over $13,000 in prizes. – [Dorothy] Oh Bob, thank you.
