For #goodsoup day 5 we did our take on #frenchonionsoup
French Onion Soup
Ingredients:
-4 quarts yellow onion julienned
-1 lbs unsalted butter
-1 cup flour
-2 quarts stock (i used chicken and turkey)
-rice vinegar to taste
-black pepper to taste
-salt to taste
-bread for crouton
-gruyere cheese to garnish before baking (i did Parmesan)
-chives to garnish
