I just moved country, from my home in England to Chamonix in France. This may seem like an absolutely wild move, but hopefully this video will clear everything up!

To be clear, that is not my house in the thumbnail – it’s a photo I took of the winter room at the Albert 1er hut in Argentiere (Chamonix). It was the worst night of my life, I got Covid and it took me 3 weeks to recover but the photo is lovely.

I put a lot of effort into the motion graphics of this video so I hope you like them 🙂

    I remember when my dad bring me and my siblings along with my grandpa to Chamonix when I was a wee child!
    We took the "Autauroute des Titans" and ate at a Mc Donalds that had a breathtaking view of the Mont Blanc. I also remember the "Mer de Glaçce", a Glacier and how I would run up and down on the stairs excitedly (apparently the other people were amused and astonished I could run that much despite how much steps there were (I'm pretty sure there were caves with murals too, but I may be misremembering.)
    Another thing was the huge rapids that go through the city, which I believe you film yourself next to at some point. It was so cool.
    My grandpa has passed away now, and my father is growing old… Oh how time flies…

    (PS: Don't take it personally if French people act rude with you for not talking properly,it's a thing the French do even among themselves. It still sucks though, but it's not because you're not French ⋅w⋅

    FrenchMan here, I actually live genuienly about 1 hour away from where he showed, and i recognise most of the mountains, but I would be on the other side. Yey
