I love the counter tops and backsplash. I was thinking of a blue or a blue-grey color for the cabinets? The wood just doesn’t seem to match and I’d prefer not to have white cabinets. My house leans towards colorful (the outside is pink) and I’d like the kitchen to have some color, too…
Or maybe I’m a crazy person and I should just keep the wood?

I love the wood color too. Is it easy to change the handle? Maybe update just that part would make a difference.
Do Not paint the nice wood cabinets. Instead a nice tinted stain if you want to change things up. Also don’t underestimate how much new hardware can change things up. Hardware would be the perfect place to really add an accent of color.

Cabinets are lovely as they are but also I could totally see them in blue with this floor and countertop.
Change the handles and see how you feel about it then. Personally I like the colour.
Sage green would look good.
I’d keep the wood cabinets, just change the handles. Add colorful accessories! A cute rug, some colorful canisters, maybe some new towels, would all bring out the playful, colorful vibe to match the rest of your house.
