   Dark ruby in color with a wide brick rim.

   Strong nose and full bodied with medium plus acidity.

   Dry on the palate with nice complexity.

   Showing red and black fruits with cedar, licorice, chocolates, spices, coffee, earth, herbs and peppercorn.

   Short finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.

   This 13 year old Syrah from Languedoc in France is a bit past its prime, although very complex. Rich and interesting.

   Good by itself and better with food.

   100% Syrah grapes were aged in French oak barrels.

   15% alcohol by volume.
