One of South Beach’s most beloved French cafes has closed for good 😔
A La Folie Cafe, the longtime crepe spot on Española Way, has permanently shut its doors after years as a neighborhood favorite.
For anyone who never made it in, this was the closest thing South Beach had to a tropical Paris.
The wooden booths, the walls layered in international newspapers, the oversized coffees, and some of the best crepes in Miami Beach made it a true European escape right in the middle of Española Way.
No official reason for the closure has been shared yet, but the doors are locked and listings now confirm it.
Spots like this are what give South Beach its character, and losing one always stings.
