“Solitary Gourmet” follows a businessman who travels all over Tokyo for work.
This drama series depicts a man quietly wandering through the city’s restaurants alone.
There are no flashy plot developments or narration whatsoever.
He simply enjoys his meal in silence.
The film beautifully portrays the indescribable joy of food that comes from such moments.

13:20 just imagine being a Gaijin in this situation lol
I always like this movie with goro
Something I've notice is Goro eats when his heart is heavy. Does he understand something we don't here?
Goro is a good man.
Is that Yoji Tanaka, who played the detective in Ju-On: The Grudge? Also, another fun fact, Yutaka Matsushige (the lead of this series) also appeared in Ringu.
QUEER CHARACTER !!
👍
Thanks for the episode today
The best part of the week 🤩
"Have your own way
I'll have my own way as well"

Uncle mike for my weekend, another fantastic saturday
Me encantan estos videos, disfruto como si estuviera comiendo esos deliciosos platos.
I love this weekly‑episode format. It brings back something to anticipate each week. Something we’ve largely lost in today’s binge‑driven streaming era.
great episode this week as well
Hey i have a suggestion.. since we here to watch Goro San eating.. how about you guys Made another account for "Shinya Shokudo" too? Both are my favorite all the time 😊
I love season 1 when they still care to give the main character some back stories.
That drum sound😍
I’m really enjoying the show a lot. It’s great to see such a progressive episode on accepting people for who they are.
I would like to ask that the subtitles of this show improved a bit please. There is a lot of onscreen text that isn’t being consistently translated, which is a bit confusing as a non-Japanese speaking viewer.
Anyway, thanks for continuing to release this series!
I miss the rest of the Midnight Diner cast..
Love the dubbing on these episodes. They so wild!
Mr. Aihara slayssss😄💅🏼 he played the character of the father of Kotoko Aihara from Itazura na Kiss in Tokyo

The first time I saw him smile so much 😁😁😁
I love the part where the orignal mangaka visits the restaurant , it makes the experience very genuine 😃

Extra funny episode 😄
😮
Please add full season here . We really love this shows ❤️❤️❤️
I wonder if Yoshino is in love with Goro. That's two episodes with one sided loves for him!
Can't wait for those New Year specials where Goro-san is sent on various trips to run errands for his clients! 😂❤
Wow, if I had a nickel for every time Goro's actor was friends with a cross-dresser in the show, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's funny that it happened twice
waduh haram mas igarashi
I don't really get what any of those ladies were talking about but I hope they find happiness in whatever it was they were talking about. Great episode!
