One of our favorite fishing trips every year is driving up to the US-Canada border to fish the famous Rainy River spring walleye and sturgeon run. There’s a reason this area is called the Walleye Capital of the World, and it’s hands-down one of the best places to catch sturgeon in the Midwest.

This week is the 5th Annual SJR 500 Rainy River fishing tournament, presented by Ray’s Sport and Marine! So much fun to see everyone, and despite the wild weather, people caught some big fish!
