Noodles also don’t come with an expiration date they come with the Best Buy date where they would taste the best on that day not that they’re expired on that day. Also, my mother is a bit of a chocolate connoisseur. She gets very high-quality chocolate once a year from my father, it’s about $1000 a box that box lasts until the next time she gets another one.
For those of you who don’t know, the Ancient Egyptians used honey (among other things) to mummify their dead and left jars of it in the tombs for food in the afterlife.
Very little food has expiration dates. Most dates are "best before" dates. This is why most foods last longer than the date. It just might not be as tasty or flavourful, but still safe to consume.
honey that hasn't been doctored up, will not expire. it has next to no water. and the high sugar content makes it inhospitable for microbes. also chocolate can last a lot longer then that, even modern chocolate because it has a lot of sugar.
Thats if you opened the milk because ive personally 1000% several g**dam times a DAY after the expiration date it comes out sour AF and literally I've had ON the expiration date its came out fking chunky so thats bullsh*t AF
Expiration dates are really a sell by date, a lot of produce can live decently past its expiration date and still be good, however don’t do this idea with every product and always do your own research
Personally .. I would always drink milk within 1 week of buying it, use eggs within 2 weeks, eat dried pasta and chocolate within 6 months, and honey within 1 year (even if it does keep forever).
Milk is a tricky one, since storage conditions BEFORE you bought it also matter. What really matters with milk is how long it was OPENED. Like if you bought a gallon of milk that is expiring today, got it home before it warmed up, and kept it in the fridge…it probably would last 10-14 days after opening. Real dairy yogurt on the other hand will easily last for a month or two past expiration. Dried pasta will typically be fine multiple years after expiration (assuming it is kept in a temp / humidity controlled environment). The EXCEPTION being pasta with higher fat content, since the fat will spoil first.
If it’s unfiltered unheated raw honey, then it doesn’t expire. Basically the honey you get from the old lady on Facebook and not stuff you get at the super market.

Actual Honey does not expire, fake honey (store bought) does.
Whats the rule on the milk one? You can drink it 100 years ago the expire date, you just might throw up
Honey only expires if in plastic container. The honey doesn’t expire same as water
Btw if you have chickens and you get eggs fresh you don’t need to refrigerate them if you don’t wash them right away

Honey does not expire. Honey in plastic bottles = the bottles expire, hence the expiration date

Is it American food and dairy or from the rest of the world big difference
I don't know what additives they putting in your milk but no milk is good 10 days after exp date that shit go sour quickly especially fresh milk
Honey never expires so long as it's stored in a dry cool place. However, it will crystallize and turn hard, but it'll still be safe to eat
If honey is stored correctly, it never expires. There’s honey from Egyptian tombs that’s still good
To test if an eggs is good put in water. If it floats it's bad, and if it sinks it's good.
he already knew the answers
I literally ate a piece of chocolate after like 2 years and nothing happened to me
I’ve had milk 2 weeks after the expiration date. It was in a pretty cold fridge unopened and green, semi skimmed.
It was absolutely fine
Chocolate is ok but really doesn't taste so good about a month after esp. lower end brands
Honey doesn’t expire, the expiration date is for the container
