15UP Karachi Express Travel After Long Time | Karachi to Lahore & Classic Dining Car Breakfast

Hello everyone,
Today I am back with another beautiful train journey vlog. This time, I am traveling from Karachi to Lahore on the well known 15UP Karachi Express, one of the semi high priority trains of Pakistan Railways.
For this journey, I chose Business Class and was joined by two of my railfan friends. The train departed from Karachi around 8:30 PM, about 2.5 hours late, but the excitement of the journey was still very much alive.
Soon after departure, we enjoyed Karachi’s famous Student Biryani along with shami kababs which our friend Yasir Bhai brought for us. The taste was simply amazing and set the tone for a memorable journey ahead. As the night settled in, I had a comfortable sleep, briefly waking up at Hyderabad and Rohri Junction.
In the morning, near Khanpur Junction, I visited the dining car and had a classic railway breakfast of toasted bread, omelette, margarine, and jam. It had been a long time since I enjoyed such a simple yet satisfying breakfast, and it truly became one of the highlights of the trip.
As the journey continued, we passed Lodhran where we saw the remains of the Tezgam derailment, which brought a quiet and reflective moment during the journey. At Multan, I enjoyed a refreshing fruit chaat from the platform.
Around lunchtime, we reached Sahiwal where an exciting train action took place as 5UP Green Line Express overtook us while we were waiting on the loop line. Moments like these are always special for railfans.
After departing Sahiwal, we enjoyed a delicious homemade lunch brought by our friend Fahad, including chicken qorma, fried rice, shami kababs, and naan. Later at Okara, we even had french fries, which made us completely full.
By the evening, I reached Kot Lakhpat, ending this long journey. The train was around five hours late, but despite the delay, the journey was full of good food, great company, and unforgettable memories.
