The most critical—and potentially fatal—rule was this: if one were to die inside the Infinite Tower, twenty years would be deducted from their lifespan in the real world. Having fully digested the contents of the *Infinite Tower Basic Handbook*, Chen Fan returned to the Administration Office.
Guided by a staff member, he walked toward a shimmering portal of light. The moment Chen Fan stepped into the portal, a blinding flash of light erupted before his eyes, so intense that he was forced to squeeze them shut. Immediately thereafter, a wave of dizziness washed over him.
When Chen Fan finally opened his eyes again, he found himself deep within the heart of a forest. The trees here were abnormally massive; everywhere he looked, he could see towering trunks so wide that it would take several people linking arms to encircle them.
“Ding! Welcome to the Infinite World. You have arrived in a One-Star Forest World. You may mentally command ‘Open Attributes’ to view your stats.” A robotic voice rang out in Chen Fan’s ear, then fell silent once more.
