  2. I love the smell of ground coffee but despise the sound the grinders. Yay for hand tools! !

  3. There are quite a few brewing methods without plastic: french press, pour over (metal & ceramic), cowboy coffee (boiling), phin (Vietnam brewing method), moka pot, American coffee percolator.

    I am from South east Asia, we brew Hainan coffee by seeping it in boiling water and filtering it with a cloth coffee sock.

    I also like the french press as it's very simple to brew. Also use it to brew some tea from time to time.
