Sit back, breathe deep, and let the journey begin.

✨ What You’ll See in This Journey

The Medieval Soul of Kaysersberg
Often voted France’s favorite village, Kaysersberg is a masterpiece of pink sandstone and timber. You’ll wander across the iconic Fortified Bridge over the rushing Weiss River, look up at the Schlossberg Castle ruins keeping watch over the valley, and discover the quiet, Romanesque beauty of the Sainte-Croix Church.

The Fairytale Streets of Riquewihr
Known as the “Gem of the Alsace Vineyards,” Riquewihr feels like stepping into a storybook. We’ll walk the famous Rue du Général-de-Gaulle, lined with vibrant Renaissance houses and artisan shops, leading your eye toward the towering Dolder Gate, a 13th-century defensive tower that has stood sentinel for over 700 years.

The Circular Wonder of Eguisheim
Unique for its concentric layout, Eguisheim invites you to follow its winding, circular streets. You’ll see the world-famous Le Pigeonnier (the most photographed house in Alsace), the serene St. Leon Square with its grand fountain and castle, and the colorful Rue des Remparts, where the flowers and timber frames create a kaleidoscope of Alsatian heritage.

  2. Hello friends hope you' re fine . Riquewihr another picturesque city full of colour and plants and when you show the objects done of glass really it blew out my mind . A waterfall of colours , that was fantastic . Then Eguisheim so full of colours too .
Remarkable the wood carving in the middle of the church !!!! Never seen that before . Great trip . Have a great and funny week hugs for both.

  3. Oh friends, I loved this so much that when that Hype button came up it was a pleasure to pound it for you. We were here a few years ago so it was fun to say, ooh there was our hotel, and cast it on our canvas TV and enjoy it as a family reminiscing and being so impressed you found such gems. While we were in this area our host told us about Kaysersberg, and Riquewihr, but we were on a silly right time schedule and we couldn't make those cute suggestions, so of course I have been craving seeing them, and here you have shared them so beautifully. They definitely are such
fairytale villages. I loved seeing the vineyards and imaging the knights protecting the village through those arrow slits. The charming flower lines streets of Kaysersberg was lovely as the fountain cistern still running water, and that old grape press such a gem.

Riquewihr with its unique circular charm reminded me how France does love their circles. Thanks for taking my family and me on an armchair travel today to one of our favorite places. Hugs 🤗 -Shauna
