Hi all, looking for some advice about my powder room revamp. I did this myself. I was going for a very feminine, floral with a touch of glam look.
The rest of our home (late 1800s brick row in NE USA) has been remodeled to modern tastes, but the home still maintains its formal, stately character. Since it's not original anyway, I wanted this tiny powder room to be a touch of feminine fun in our historic home.
The advice I am seeking is: does this room look finished to you? I am wondering whether I should put something (1-2 small, neutral shelves?) above the toilet. I do not wish to do anything to overwhelm as obviously the wallpaper is quite bold. Any advice on how to "finish" this room (or if you have any other friendly comments!) would be quite welcome. Thank you

Can you be honest with me and tell me your mental and physical condition during the installation of the wallpaper? lol 😂 I am thinking of doing it in my closet.

How about swapping the storage basket, and storing the spare TP elsewhere – maybe under the vanity?
For me, the current basket feels too rustic amidst the glam.
