Southern Deep Fried Chicken Wings

Chicken Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
2 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons EverCrisp (optional)
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon coarse black pepper

Flour Coating Ingredients:
4 pounds whole chicken wings
1/3 cup French’s Yellow Mustard
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1.5 tablespoons chili powder
1.5 tablespoons dried parsley
1.5 tablespoons coarse black pepper
2 tablespoons Season All
2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons Louisiana Hot Sauce

Instructions:

Add the wings to a large bowl with the mustard, hot sauce, and seasonings. Mix until every wing is fully coated.

In a separate bowl, mix together the flour coating ingredients. Dredge the wings until fully coated.

Place the coated wings on a wire rack and let them rest while the oil heats to 375 F.

Fry the wings in batches for 12 to 14 minutes, or until golden brown, crispy, and cooked through.

Transfer the wings to a wire rack and let the excess oil drain off before serving.

  3. Put in buttermilk overnight then when go to bread chicken add corn chips to your flower crush them up in food processor then you will have the best tasting and crispiest chicken you've ever had God bless
