Nadia began making pastries for family and friends during COVID, and the love for her handmade creations grew into a neighborhood favorite. The menu features classic French pastries and breakfast favorites baked fresh daily. From flaky croissants and sweet danishes to fruit tarts and cream-filled beignets, everything is made with care. On our visit, we tried the blueberry cream-filled beignet and the blueberry danish, and both were delicious. Pair any pastry with a coffee or espresso for the perfect morning treat. Nadia’s also offers custom orders and catering for special events.

You can find Nadia’s French Bakery at 2705 Grand Avenue in Des Moines. They are open Tuesday-Friday from 7 am-2 pm, Saturday from 8 am-1 pm and Sunday from 10 am-3 pm.
