[ MUST TRY ] This Hidden Restaurant Feels Like Paris Underground 🇫🇷

Brisbane we have officially discovered a restaurant hidden inside a cavernous dining room featuring rock walls and a French wine cellar serving some of the most decadent French food we’ve eaten in the city!

AND – it’s been hiding in Spring Hill this whole time.

We started with the baked scallops, they arrive swimming in the dreamiest buttery sauce that you absolutely must mop up with bread.

The cheese soufflé….Light. Fluffy. Golden. Basically a warm cheesy cloud.

For mains, the fish in puff pastry arrived looking like a work of art. Flaky pastry, delicate fish, and a rich creamy sauce that tastes like someone’s French grandmother made it. We also ordered the beef (because balance)

But the real moment of the night? Dessert.

You HAVE to order the Crêpes Suzette cooked table-side. The caramelised orange sauce is made right in front of you, the pan bursts into flames, the whole restaurant turns to watch and suddenly dinner becomes a full performance. The crêpes soak up all that buttery orange caramel and are served warm with ice cream and it is every bit as dramatic and delicious as it sounds.

We also tried the crème brûlée, because once you’re in dessert mode there’s no going back.

You can even purchase a bottle of wine from the cellar to take home.

📍 La Cache à Vin is located 215 Wharf Street Spring Hill.

Who are you taking with you? 👀
