Just bought my first house and looking for some ideas for what to do with this space above the doorframe. I plan on colour drenching the walls but not sure on the colour yet.
Colourwise: if you’re style is moody/dark academia/ anything along the lines, a dark green would look awesome, with a gallery wall with gold or wooden frames But since the space is quite narrow, it would seem even more so
So maybe a bright colour to lighten it up? A pale or cherry blossom pink, and if you like the idea of a gallery wall, some colourful prints could tie it together
Edit: for a dark and moody vibe, the handrail probably would need some paint, too
