We previously had 10' x 7' rug and purposely set it a bit further forward so end table was off entirely. We likely do that against since it would take 11' to cover both end table legs and this will crowd the entry mats (see white line in newer picture).
I am thinking just doing 10' wide again but curious if anyone thinks we should go any larger?
What do you recommend, I'm likely getting something that can be customized but still might go with standard 10×8 rug.

If the 10′ width worked before without crowding the entry area, stick with 10′ wide and just go to an 8′ depth instead of 7′. That extra foot front-to-back makes the seating arrangement feel more grounded without pushing your edges. Getting both end table legs on requires a size that creates other problems, so that’s the trade-off I’d skip – the rule of all front legs on the rug matters more than covering end tables anyway.
