Ideas for awkward kitchen corner?

We have this blank corner in our kitchen that is awkwardly far away from the rest of our counters/island/sink. What should we do with it? I feel stuck and need inspiration/outside perspective! Seems like the “cat fountain” corner is a bit of a waste, haha.

For reference, space is roughly 2’x2’ with a good two feet of clearance next to it. Rest of the home is something between MCM and Boho with neutral colours.

Any ideas are appreciated!!
