  1. National Culinary Treasure. She once said that her favorite smell was melted butter and garlic. She also admitted to enjoying a well made, greasy fast food cheeseburger. She took the 'snobbiness' out of cooking world class cuisine.

  2. Julia Childs was a lush every time when she pours Sherry for whatever she's cooking she wore the glass for herself my dad told me that and one day we were watching her by the end of the show you can tell she was slurring her words

  3. Im not dissing her but i was taught to turn onion 90 degrees and cut to the way she is cutting. Am I right? Maybe not but I was taught by french chefs

    she taught me how to make minestrone when I was 7
    my family thought I was a savant chef

    even used her recipe for garlic butter spread to get the garlic toast just right

    so long ago….you should try my minestrone now
    its flawless

  5. Good high carbon blade steel in the hands of a master. One of those knives can last generations.
