In the early stages of World War II, Nazi propaganda worked tirelessly to dehumanize enemies, labeling certain soldiers as “savages” to be feared. However, rare footage from 1940 reveals a different reality that history often overlooks.
In a quiet moment away from the front lines, a German soldier and a Black “Tirailleur” (a French colonial infantryman) were captured on film sharing a bottle of wine. This simple act of brotherhood proves that even during the world’s darkest conflict, humanity remained stronger than the hatred being taught by regimes.

  1. Imagine the despicable person who would put out a video attempting to portray Nazis as human.
    You should delete this.

  2. Africans were not their target at the time it was their neighbor poles, disabled children and German Jews. That's how every racist acts they just treat the at risk groups like that. Just like America and the Native Americans

  3. This small act of kindness does not prove anything. Even the allies committed atrocities against the Axis Powers and their people. Let alone the hatred the Nazis and German army fought with, hatred won that war. Humanity still hasn’t been recovered

  4. It was the S S that did this to others. the Wehrmacht were just kids and people who were drafted yall need to read a book And dont say crap I lost familial members in the Holocaust.
