hello this is NOT a traditional beef bourguignon this is my version with the ingredients i had.
I want to inspire you to still make interesting recipes at home even if you don’t have all the ingredients!!

ingredients 👇🏾
1 lb beef chuck
1 cup red wine
2 potato chopped
4 white mushrooms chopped
1 yellow onion diced
2 celery stalks diced
1 or 2 large carrots diced
2 cups beef stock
salt
black pepper
dried thyme

how to:
first in your soup pot sear off your beef until brown on all sides. remove from pot.

cut and wash all of your vegetables.

on medium heat cook and season your vegetables in the beef fat.. sweat vegetables for 3 minutes on medium low heat.

uncover and add in tomato paste. sweat for additional 3 minutes. ✨️ this builds flavor

uncover and add in your beef, red wine and beef stock bring to a simmer, and cook for about 45 minutes. or until your meat is tender.

IMPORTANT: this recipe is for chuck and tough cuts of beef. do not use ribeye or premium beef cuts of meat this cooking process will make the meat hard and not soft like it does for chuck.
