  1. Stu, this is a simply great video. The highlight for me was the pairing of that local gorgeous fino sherry with that tuna dish. Sumptuous combination! Hopefully, it was worth the awful delays you experienced the day before.

  2. Oh u been in Jerez!!! Near where I come from, Cadiz. Jerez is very nice city full of good places to eat and drink good wine 🍷. I can tell ur really enjoying that food. Thanks for the video Stu 🎉🎉

  3. I think I'm adding Jerez to my trip in Sept/Oct! Beautiful, elegant presentation of each dish. Wow, what a treat. Thanks for another great video, Stuart!

  4. I was in Jerez last year. Had also a pleansant, tasty experiance in a local coffee-shop/artisanal bakery. Prices reasonable and tummy very happy 😁

  5. For what you had I think.. looks nice but really overpriced IMO. €4.50 for a small dessert wine? Nope..otherwise superb video.learned a huge amount about dishes I've never heard of.

  6. I absolutely agree with you. The small local bars and restaurants are always the best no matter what town or city you find yourself.

  7. Hola Stu, really enjoyed your vlog this evening👍 i have to say you look like you were in your element😂 not that far from where we have our apartment in manilva, I've been to Cadiz , I've not been Jerez but we are planning to visit👍 keep up the good work Stu🍷🍷

  8. Thanks for this video. Good memories of Jerez. I was stationed in Rota back in the early 70s. We went to Jerez many times.

  9. I love those small, off the main street, restaurants. Your meal looked amazing. It is so fun to order a bunch of small plates. The wines seemed a bit expensive. You seemed to enjoy them so they were worth the cost.

  10. Typical Andalucia. Sherry, Tapas, etc. What's not to like? Don't get me wrong; I love it but here's the thing. You step into a bar to have a fino and a couple of tapas, then another fino and on we go. Total bill for nibbles and drinks – $34 euros. You could have two plates of great food in a restaurant for the same money.

  11. Hi Stu, you deserve a good feast after your experience with the blackout. We visited Jerez a few years ago and did the Lustau sherry tour. Afterwards we had lunch in the town, lovely juicy prawns and Manzanilla from Sanlucar.

  12. The food looks fantastic. When I'm in that part of Spain I also avoid the Cruzcampo and go for a cold fino or two.

  13. Looked delicious, high scores too! Nice to see you out and about, sir. On holiday? You should stop by Valencia. We are waiting for our NLV approval and need restaurant tips. Hasta pronto!

  14. JEREZ=Sherry in Spanish…. In England Sherry was the tipple many years ago and a dry sherry is my favourite… Tony cuenca
