French James Bond is a real dude hired by British special operations, and I am still struggling to wrap my head around everything this man got up to. His name is Robert de la Rochefoucauld, he grew up literally in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower, and when he grew up he served his country in the… British special forces program, where he was trained in survival, combat, and making things go boom.

Hel yeah! Shoutout to regular people! Take that, Great Man of History Theory!
3:58 the muscle tremors when trying to rope climb are so accurate, why do I never see that in movies?
2:48 yes
5:44 ah, a fellow Commandos fan, I see
Would that make Rouchfaucold the real life version of Spooky instead?
Dude single-handedly made france badass.
"And what is this?"
"DON'T TOUCH THAT! It's my lunch."
I think this video might be the best sponsor tie in ever. I am legit pumped to check out Sniper Elite.
3:46 to 3:58
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend" sums up this scene perfectly.
He strait up feels like a supporting character from a Indiana jones adventure
Operation anthropoid next?
This is the first and only time I liked a video because of the sponsor.
Uhhhh French🤮
Yet another guy that makes James Bond look like an amateur boy scout.
3:48 I love that "British" is censored like it's this horrible slur to the French.
Sniper elite resistance still has that bug where you need to throw a grenade to get the enemy to stop searching for you.
I assume you are going to say something along the lines of “Well my views don’t go back up until May so I can talk about whatever the heck I want.”
Maddest of the mad lads!
Some of that sounds more like Maxwell Smart than James Bond
"does the pope eat protestant babies?!" Lmfao. That and he bleeped the word British when talking to DeGaul
):D
Rochefoucuald became mayor of Ouzouer-sur-Trézée later in life. He did a lot.
Impressive. But can he turn a bombs into baguettes?
Hey. While we’re in this area… sir Christopher Lee? Ww2 spy, given permission to marry a princess, the Dracula, Jedi knight, Sith Lord, Saruman the white. Explained to Peter Jackson what happens when stabbed from experience. Only member of lotr cast to have met Tolkien, and front man to a metal band.
I love how @3:49, British is bleeped out like an expletive!
I feel wiser now for knowing this 😁
I love that you referenced the renowned RTS essential Commandos , from Eidos interactive, probably the best ever known Spanish game! I have them on Steam!
3:44 censoring him saying the b-word was genius😂
The actual inspiration for Hitman.
Hahahaha he censored br*tish
it's coming again…. acting now is even maybe too late… but if you don't… you'll always know you could have. Don't get lumped in with those who are the new class of tyrants.
Irl Bomb Voyage
So that game saboteur is based on a true story
Jack you a special one…..LOLOLOL
A baguette bomb – now that's French!
🤣🤣🤣
8:31 "Lawd have mercy"
That soldier probably
1:30 😂MOO!😂
That baguette trick is so French it turned into onion soup and Merlot
"French James Bond" is apt, but I would argue so is "French B. J. Blazkowicz." He's even fighting to free his homeland from occupation, like his fictional American counterpart.
And to think, if the Germans just didn't touch his stuff, they'd have had way less trouble from the frenchiestman in the war.
i was literally booting up sniper elite resistance as i was watching this video
He began to have second feelings? That's a different way of saying he began to have second thoughts I guess.😊
I wonder if there's any truth to this story. Every time I hear about some brave guy who worked behind enemy lines it always turns out to be a lot of exaggeration. Sometimes it's the person themselves exaggerating what they actually did and what it meant to the war effort and cut off and it's the author of some new book who is trying to get attention so that he can sell a lot of those books. I'm not saying that this guy didn't do some of the things that are in this video but he probably didn't do everything.
Hu, wonder why a facist resistance fighter would be relevant in todays world?
I still can't get over censoring Br*tish with a bleep. This channel is brilliant and I love being here!
Oh these aren't homemade. These were made in a factory….. A bomb factory.
He also helped soon to be convicted war criminal Maurice Papon try to escape justice later on…….
SOMETHING SOMETHING AGINCOURT!!! A BULLDOG SMOKING A CIGAR!
