Epcot is the foodie theme park at Walt Disney World. The World Showcase section of Epcot has 11 Pavilions themed after different cultures and countries; each offering different table service restaurants that encapsulate the cuisine of their respective regions. At the front of the park, areas like World Nature and World Discovery have restaurants like Space 220 and Coral Reef that transport guests to imaginative landscapes while they dine in a dynamic environment.

However, more food doesn’t always mean better food. Despite the overwhelming amount of places to eat at Epcot many of these offerings can be hit or miss. Due to this, we decided to produce a series where we dine at our top 5 BEST Epcot Restaurants to see which we think is the best.

This video focuses on the first Epcot table service restaurant we ate at together, Les Chefs De France. Obviously located in the France Pavilion of Epcot’s World Showcase, this restaurant attempt to transport patrons to a Parisian Cafe. Complete with an extensive wine menu and classic cuisine offerings like escargot.

We go over their full menu, try out their signature offerings, go over the decor, subtle details, history and full experience of Chefs De France. The last time we ate here was during our first trip to Walt Disney World as a couple in 2017. Does this restaurant make the list truly because it’s great or is it just our intimate nostalgia? Find out with us as we start our top 5 restaurant series at Epcot!

  1. Great review. Can’t wait for the rest of this series. It’s sad that people don’t understand the greatness that is the New York New jersey dinner experience.
I want to try escargot but Jay has to be there incase I hate it lol

  2. Oh I love this restaurant! My mom took me here when I was in High School circa 1991 and wow I was enchanted! Thank you for reminding me of this beautiful memory! God bless! 💕🙏💕

  3. it's been years since we have been at Chefs de France – I think we might need to revisit at some point. Great video! Side note, but I am still trying to figure out what those people are doing in the bushes @2:57 in the video lol

  4. Hate noisy restaurants. You want to feel relaxed and special not self-conscious

  5. Yay TPF's! I have so many great memories at this place. About 10 years ago, my daughter and I dined here and the service was phenomenal. A lovely French gentleman waited on us and wrote down the places that we should visit in France. My daughter, now 21, still has the list. I remember the food being better than anticipated and the view from our window seat was the very best. Thanks for another great video. You guys rock. Have a wonderful week ❤

  6. In terms of atmosphere, I think Chefs looks so cozy and almost magical from the outside looking in at night. But once inside the uncomfortably close tables and overall noise level are a bummer. That said love the baguette and onion soup. Our server suggested subbing mashed potatoes for the noodles in the dish Jay had and it was very good – helped soak up the sauce.

  7. Man, you guys were literally under a spot light ! 😂 Not good ambiance at all. We ate there about 3 years ago. Will not go back. Very rude staff, food was just ok nothing special. Expect more from a "fine dining" experience, which in our opinion fell grossly short. Loud, crowded together, not happy people. And it just was not one staff / server, they all were miserable. Looking forward the the rest of the series. Thanks for the review and keep on eating !

  8. awesome video, can you get a side of that mac and cheese? or I wonder if they would let you sub that for the pasta in the beef bourgeon? love your reviews, can't wait for the next one!

  9. Chefs de France is pretty solid – especially the service. I don't think I ever had anything there blow me away, but the staff there were always so nice and fun. Great video as always! Another location where I forget how loud it is.

  10. I went recently with my son, after watching a review of their Mac n cheese. He was blown away but I wasn’t. It was ok. Great reviews and can’t wait to see the next one!

  11. Why!!!!! Does utube keep sending me videos that I tell utube don't want to see!!!! What the fuxk is wrong with utube! Why is the user not the important person in the equation?

  12. the correct answer is shiki sai izakaya. yummo. i'm embarrassed to admit that how often we have eaten there, but it might involve a fan.

  13. I think Monsieur is pronounced more like, “Meh- schure” with the emphasis on the second syllable. It’s not intuitive at all but I took French in High School😊😊

  14. The baguette looked amazing but agree in a restaurant setting, smaller individual baguettes would make way more sense.

  15. The commentary at the end had me cracking up. The "good Italian folk." ❤️

I'm excited for this series. This place is not for me. Just so loud! And that steak was sad looking and agreed, could have easily been from an Applebees. I do like me a good escargot though so maybe one day I'll go just to get those and bounce. 😂
