During my visit, I was thrilled to try a selection of their most popular dishes. I started my culinary journey with the Steak Tips, featuring top sirloin marinated for 18 hours in a secret family recipe that’s whimsically referred to as “unicorn tears.” The steak was tender and bursting with flavor, accompanied by perfectly seasoned home fries, three farm-fresh eggs, and a fluffy biscuit smothered with rich gravy a savory delight that set the bar high for the dishes to come.
Next, I dove into the Carne Asada Skillet. The carne asada was beautifully seasoned and expertly chopped, mingling with vibrant green peppers, onions, tomatoes, and jalapeños. All of this was nestled atop a bed of seasoned home fries, topped with a melted blend of Jack and cheddar cheeses, and crowned with three eggs. It was a symphony of flavors that perfectly satisfied my cravings.
For a sweet twist, I sampled the November Pancakes, made with pumpkin batter and adorned with a dollop of whipped cream, a drizzle of whipped cream cheese, and a hint of cinnamon. Each bite was like celebrating autumn on a plate warm, comforting, and delicious.
Continuing the indulgence, I indulged in the Lips Pancakes decadent red velvet pancakes stuffed with chocolate chips, complemented by fresh strawberries, a swirl of whipped cream cheese, and a generous drizzle of chocolate and raspberry syrups. It was a beautifully balanced combination of flavors and textures.
Not to be outdone, the Oreo French Toast was next, crafted from Hawaiian sweet bread dipped in an Oreo crumble batter, then finished with more Oreo crumbles, whipped cream, and a tempting chocolate drizzle. It was as delightful as it sounds impossibly decadent and wonderfully satisfying.
And finally, I couldn’t leave without trying the Churro Waffle. This masterpiece began with a vanilla-batter waffle, cooked to crispy perfection and then deep fried. Tossed in sweet cinnamon sugar, it was a delightful explosion of flavor and texture crispy on the outside, yet soft and fluffy inside.
If you’re on the hunt for an amazing breakfast or lunch spot in Las Vegas, Stacks and Yolks should be at the top of your list. Remember, they do close at 3 PM, so plan your visit accordingly to indulge in their delicious offerings. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this family friendly restaurant promises satisfaction and flavors that will keep you coming back for more.
