About Carruth Cellars: We are an “urban winery” that’s when a winery decides to locate its winemaking facilities in an urban environment.
We source most of our fruit from Sonoma County, but in the past, we have also sourced from Willamette Valley, Napa, Paso Robles, Santa Lucia Highlands, and more. We use simple, traditional winemaking practices, and our wine ages mostly in French oak, but also use a little American oak and a mix of new and once-used.
The first Carruth location opened in 2010 on Cedros Ave in Solana Beach. Today, we have 4 tasting rooms in San Diego County – from Oceanside to Liberty Station. With all 4 tasting rooms located in small communities, Adam Carruth has always focused on the community, bringing people together, enjoying great wines, food & company.
