This Channel is designed to engage a prospective new generation of Antiques & Collectibles historians, conservationists, hobbyists and/or treasure hunters. Learning history can be both fun and educational! This is a different approach for students to learn history that is different from traditional text based teaching. By examining objects, students learn research and story composition skills as well as an appreciation for the history and possible events relating to the object.
I am not an expert but would like to share what I have learned in my 30 years of collecting and make learning history fun (and introduce a possibly profitable hobby).
Because of my internet limitations in rural TN, I have to keep the videos relatively short in order to upload them to youtube, so many associated topics about the object are not included. Please feel free to comment here and on facebook.
