Last Sept, I presented a training at a conference in Orlando and First Lady Biscuit tagged along. We flew down on Friday after work and she returned home Sunday and I stayed a couple of more days for the conference. (And as luck would have it, a hurricane.).
We only did one park day and decided to go with Epcot. Neither of us has ever done the Food and Wine festival and we were excited to give it a try.
We had a flight delay followed by a broken baggage carousel followed by 2 Uber drivers who cancelled on us, but we finally managed to get the resort around 1 AM. You’d think I’d have slept in, but the moment the sun was up, so was I. I toured the Port Orleans French Quarter and drank it in, along with a few cups of coffee. We left the resort at 11 and headed to Hollywood Studios to transfer to the Skyliner. (We wanted to start in World Showcase.) It was still quite hot and humid out so we didn’t try a whole of of food, but what we did try was very good.
We then soaked in some rides and AC and had a generally amazing time.
