Dominique Moran is the South Central Regional Manager for Maisons Marques & Domaines USA, the premier importer and marketer of family-owned, world-renowned wine producers. MMD USA was founded in 1987 as the U.S. sales and marketing arm for Champagne Louis Roederer and its California winery, Roederer Estate, and has grown to represent producers from France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Canada, South Africa and California.
Several of the wineries represented by Maisons Marques & Domaines (MMD USA) are owned by the House of Louis Roederer, including Roederer Estate, Scharffenberger Cellars, Domaine Anderson, Merry Edwards, Ramos-Pinto, Delas Frères, Domaines Ott, and the Bordeaux properties of Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande, Château de Pez, and Château Haut-Beauséjour. Others, such as a selection of the Châteaux from Etablissements Jean- Pierre Moueix, the wines of Dominus and Napanook in Napa Valley, Château Loudenne, Baron de Ladoucette, Domaines Schlumberger, Agricola Querciabella, Castiglion del Bosco, Livio Felluga and Pio Cesare of Italy, Marqués de Murrieta of Spain, Inniskillin Icewine from Canada, Meerlust and Distell wines of South Africa and Maisons Marques & Domaines’ own proprietary Carpe Diem wines from the Anderson and Napa Valleys, are represented in the U.S. on an exclusive basis. In this role since 1991 Dominique is responsible for the sales and development of MMD products in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi and Oklahoma.
Dominique holds a Bachelor degree in Political Sciences from the Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II), France.
In May 2017 Dominique received The Order of Agricultural Merit. It is an order of merit bestowed by the French Republic for outstanding contributions to agriculture.
