Bonjour! I am French, and I have lived in England for ten years. So I did something I had been wanting to do for a long time: I asked French people what they REALLY think about England.

I will admit, I did not know what to expect. Would they be kind about this country I now call home… or brutal? Some of their answers genuinely surprised me, and one of them I am still thinking about days later.

No spoilers here. You will have to watch to find out whether the French came to praise England or to bury it. 😄

Grab a cup of tea (or a glass of wine, we are French after all), sit back, and let me know in the comments below the video: as someone who lives here, do you think they got England right? Or did they miss something you love about this country?

I read every single comment, and I truly want to hear your thoughts.

Merci for watching, and welcome to the channel if you are new here. On Dear Old Blighty I explore the funny, charming and surprising differences between French and English culture, always with a smile and a bit of ooh la la.

Au revoir, and I will see you in the next one! 🇫🇷🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿.

  1. The French are our bitchy older sister and we are their bastard little brother, we squabble and fight all day long if one wants to go right the other wants to go left………but if someone wants to hurt our sister we will have their back covered lol day long as we are family.
