  1. 🍟 Air Fryer French Fries

    Ingredients

    * Potatoes – 2 medium
    * Corn Flour – 1 tbsp (optional, for extra crispiness)
    * Salt – ½ tsp
    * Red Chilli Powder or Paprika – ½ tsp (optional)
    * Black Pepper Powder – ¼ tsp (optional)
    * Mixed Herbs or Oregano – ½ tsp (optional)
    * Oil – 1 tsp or oil spray

    Method

    1. Peel the potatoes (optional) and cut them into thin fries.
    2. Soak the fries in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
    3. Drain and pat them completely dry with a kitchen towel.
    4. Add corn flour, salt, chilli powder, black pepper, herbs, and oil. Toss well to coat evenly.

    Air Fryer

    * Preheat: 180°C for 5 minutes
    * Arrange the fries in a single layer.
    * Cook: 180°C for 15–18 minutes.
    * Shake the basket every 5–6 minutes for even cooking.
    * If needed, cook for 2–3 more minutes for extra crispiness.

    Oven

    * Preheat: 200°C for 10 minutes
    * Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking tray.
    * Bake: 200°C for 25–30 minutes, turning halfway through.

    Stove

    1. Heat 2–3 tsp oil in a non-stick pan.
    2. Add the fries in a single layer.
    3. Cook on medium flame for 12–15 minutes, turning occasionally until golden and crispy.
    4. Sprinkle a little extra salt or herbs before serving if desired.

    Tips

    * Soaking and drying the potatoes well helps make the fries crispier.
    * Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket or baking tray.
    * Serve immediately with tomato ketchup, yogurt dip, or mint chutney for the best taste. 🍟
