  1. Chef, you've clearly been out of the US for a long time. I insist you do a cooking video making fries and a milkshake, and mix the two to see how you feel.

  2. One thing about Hidden valley rach, Ken's steakhouse ranch and Wishbone Ranch dressing are probably going
📈 Up up and away! Nice reaction video. My rankings on fast food burgers, 1. In-N-Out. 2. Fatburger. 3. Smash N Brothers. 4. Original tommys. 5. Carl's Junior. 🤤

  3. James please give us a great yet simple ranch dressing recipe. I don't worry about buying buttermilk, I make my own. 1 cup milk plus 1 tablespoon vinegar or lemon juice, let sit about 15 – 20 minutes. Stir and done! Buttermilk!

  4. For pizza I've learned with the sauces they offer you can "soak" your slice bottom side in or on the said sauce and it gives great flavor and depth. For the Wendys fries people have been dunking their fries in the shakes for a long time. It's good but honestly nothing special I choose not to since I like fries for what they are.

Another note if you see this chef James do you have a good home made burger recipe if not could you make a video with meat options to ground it fresh and make it from scratch. If you don't mind also a bun recipe. I have been making my own but I feel like I'm missing something.

  5. I'm also shocked that the medium size looks like a super large…
This could be on a Super-Size Me 3, but sadly, Morgan Spurlock passed away a couple years ago…

  6. 4:08 That's the beauty of America, son. You're free, free to dip pizza in ranch, free to break your spaghetti before boiling it, free at last, free at last. 😂

  7. I figure someone has told you that Buc-ees is a ginormous gas station? But the store is unbelievable. You should look for some videos about it because I know there are some. It really just boggles the mind, especially the first time.

  8. Looked up the big drink here, it's 500ml's… so smaller than small.

I'd laugh about the Ranch thing, but I discovered difference between what stores here sell as Ranch and following an American recipe for buttermilk Ranch few months back… damn… I made it for fried chicken, but 3 days later I was dipping meatballs in it, and yes also pizza crust😅

  9. We’ve always put ranch on pizza. This is nothing new. Just don’t use Hidden Valley. That’s not real ranch. It’s disgusting.

  10. Chef James first of all I did not know that you were a bagpiper and I absolutely love the bagpipes they're always there during a Christmas parade and they look like giants
Secondly my pet passed away this morning and it was having a really hard day but coming to see your video and all these people enjoying America and our food is amazing I mean I'm just sitting here with huge smiles on my face😅😅😅
Thank you so much chef you always bring a smile to my face.
😊😊 I can't wait to see if you come to New York because I'm in Massachusetts

  11. Most of these are exaggerated. It's like Jack and him tasting his food with multiple mmms. Wendy's is better than McDonald's, but I would rather eat McDonald's than anything you show Jack cooking. Buc-ee's is like a Walmart sized gas station for cars only, trucks are only allowed for deliveries, but with really clean restrooms. The food is just because it is different. It's always better on vacation. Glad to see the US getting positive news as we aren't generally liked in the world.

  12. Dipping pizza crust (ranch for example) is a Canadian staple thanks to Pizza Pizza always coming with a dipping sauce

  13. A lot of our drink sizes are big because we spend a 4th of or day driving places and don't want to keep buying multiple places and stopping places to get a drink. If you are driving for 2 plus hours you will get thirsty and hungry and have to stop at a gas station or restaurant. It doesn't have to be pop, you can get something refreshing in the large glasses instead.

  14. When I was in high school (long time ago) french fries and ranch was the thing. I do like that american food culture is finally being appreciated.

  15. As a lover of ranch who would like to see the Europeans have access to this product, PLEASE post a video of your recipe! I'm sure ANY of your worldwide fans who DID travel to the cup would appreciate it! It's got to be mad expensive to get even a packet of the seasoning over there……much less a whole bottle!
I mean, I already have a recipe, but who knows, yours could be better, you're only a trained chef…what does that mean anyway? 😉

  16. Most places give free refills, but many "Sit down" restaurants often do not and will charge you per glass.

  17. I have no idea if you ever had Coke Zero, but that stuff is amazing. If you are used to artificial sweeteners, it tastes incredibly close to regular Coca Cola. I think the patent expired and there's so many Zero sodas are coming out

It's hard to tell which burgers are best. The places have inflated. McDonalds used to be incredibly consistent. In and Out is good, but a great bang for the buck. Wendy's was alright. Burger King HEAVILY depends on the location though. Some Burger Kings are garbage; others are good. I lived near a good one once, but it didn't have a lot of customers, so I got my food fast

  18. In Australia we don't have Burger King. We have Hungry Jack's, which I've been told is just Australia's name for Burger King. I've only rarely had Hungry Jack's or McDonald's, but in my limited experience, Hungry Jack's is better than McDonald's.

    We don't have Chick-Fil-A or In-N-Out.
