Current Plans:
– put something on the wall above the couch
– replace ottoman with square or circle wood coffee table
– replace papisan chair with cabinet for record player and replace the collage frame with records on the wall
– possibly paint the dining buffet a distressed neutral green, leaving the top wood
– add two or three saddle style stools to the bar
– add a bistro table or writing desk facing the window in the kitchen

Those big alcoves above the sofas would tempt me to put something in them! Maybe some kind of trailing plant in a nice bright pot to add a bit more vibrancy and liveliness. Or use that spot to show off some interesting records or something else you collect, maybe painting them another colour too.
I think overall it’s a really lovely space and just needs a touch of colour to liven it up a little as there’s a lot of neutral tones.
Definitely something above the couch and a small coffee table. But honestly it’s a nice organized space you don’t need to add too much extra, depending on seasons you can play around with different colors can be an option like the curtains and pillows.
